Anthony Claudot.
Founder & Head Coach — Tennis & Pickleball
BE 1er degré FFT · 20 years · 7 countries · 3 continents. A firm believer that experience is the best teacher — and that a tennis lesson should always be service with a smile.

Twenty years dedicated to the craft.
Anthony Claudot is the founder and head coach of Pure Sport, a tennis and pickleball academy based in Singapore. He holds the BE 1er degré FFT — France's highest national coaching qualification — along with an NCSF Certified Personal Trainer certification and a Master's degree in Business Management.
His journey started in France, competing and coaching through the French federation circuit — where the technical rigour and the obsession with how the body moves were born. At London's Sutton Tennis Academy — the LTA's South East High Performance Centre, the same centre that shaped Johanna Konta, members of Andy Murray's team and Elina Svitolina's coach — he then worked alongside physiotherapists and performance analysts, and it changed his coaching for good: not copying textbook strokes, but understanding each player's biomechanics and building from there.
Seven countries followed, across three continents — England, Morocco, Mauritius, Botswana, South Africa and finally Singapore. Coaching players from such different cultures and backgrounds, in English and in French, made him an adaptable coach at ease with every playing style, from complete beginners to advanced competitors.
In 2019, he founded Pure Sport in Singapore and formalised his experience into The Pure Method — a coaching framework built on personalised diagnostics, analytical progression, applied biomechanics and the complete player experience. Today, Pure Sport coaches tennis and pickleball across 20 neighbourhoods in Singapore and is rated 5.0★ on Google from 118 reviews.
The qualifications behind the coaching.
BE 1er degré FFT

NCSF Certified Personal Trainer
National Council on Strength and Fitness — biomechanics and movement science behind every correction.

Sutton Tennis Academy
The LTA's South East High Performance Centre in London — where Johanna Konta, members of Andy Murray's team and Elina Svitolina's coach trained, and where Anthony's biomechanics approach was forged.
From tennis court to pickleball court.
In 2025, Anthony brought The Pure Method to pickleball — and started competing immediately. Three medals in his first year.
- January 2025 · Community Pickleball Individual Challenge — Singles medal in Anthony's first competitive pickleball outing.
- May 2025 · PickleSlam — Tournament trophy — proof the biomechanics transfer is real.
- December 2025 · Singapore Masters — Bronze medal to close the first competitive year.
Anthony specialises in pickleball singles — a format that rewards the same biomechanical precision he's built over 20 years in tennis. Footwork, shot placement, body mechanics: The Pure Method applies to both sports because it coaches the player, not the sport.
