About Pure Sport.
Coaching grounded in science — and delivered with a smile.
We started with one coach, one court, and a belief: that biomechanics-based coaching shouldn't be reserved for elite athletes. Twenty years and seven countries later, that belief became Pure Sport — Singapore's tennis and pickleball academy rated 5.0★ on Google.
Your coaches.
Every Pure Sport coach is qualified through the French coach education system — recognised by the ITF at Gold level — and completes our internal training programme: four phases over three months before leading a session alone.

How one coach’s idea became an academy.
Anthony Claudot picked up a racquet in France at age five. For the last 20 years he has dedicated his life, as a player and a coach, to the art of tennis — from the French federation circuit to the high-performance centre at Sutton Tennis Academy in London, then coaching roles across seven countries and three continents.
In 2019, he founded Pure Sport in Singapore with a clear idea: bring elite-level biomechanics coaching to everyday players — and make it genuinely fun.
That idea became The Pure Method — a coaching framework built on four pillars: personalised diagnostics, analytical progression, applied biomechanics, and the complete player experience. Every coach at Pure Sport is trained in this method. Every session follows it. It's what makes our coaching consistent, no matter who you play with.
In 2025, Pure Sport expanded into pickleball — the same method and the same team, applied to a new court. What hasn't changed is the promise behind every session: real progress, and real fun.
Twenty years of coaching, across seven countries.
Each milestone is a chapter that shaped The Pure Method.
- France — early years — First racquet at age five. Trained and competed on French clay courts, then earned the BE 1er degré FFT — France's highest national coaching qualification, part of the coach education system the ITF recognises at Gold level.
- London — Sutton Tennis Academy — Coached at the LTA's South East High Performance Centre. This is where Anthony's biomechanics-first approach crystallised — working alongside physiotherapists and performance analysts.
- Seven countries — international circuit — Coaching roles in France, England, Morocco, Mauritius, Botswana and South Africa before Singapore. Each country added a layer: cultural adaptability, bilingual coaching, exposure to different playing styles and body types.
- 2019 — Singapore — Pure Sport founded. The method formalised. Anthony brings everything — the science, the global experience, the fun — to Singapore's tennis community, coaching across 20 neighbourhoods.
- 2025 — Pickleball expansion — Same biomechanics method, new court — plus three competition medals in year one. Pure Sport becomes a dual-sport academy built on a unified framework.
The four principles behind every session.
Fun is the method
Joy isn't a bonus — it's the engine. Players who enjoy their sessions improve faster, stay longer, and recommend us naturally. That's not philosophy; it's what our 118 five-star reviews say most.
Science of movement
We coach the body, not the shot. Biomechanics from elite-level training centres inform every correction. We fix the cause, not the symptom — whether it's a tennis serve or a pickleball dink.
Personalised for every player
Every body is different. Every level is unique. We adapt the method to you — never the other way round. From your first rally to tournament preparation, the approach is yours.
Consistent quality, every coach
The Pure Method is formalised, teachable and verifiable. Every coach goes through a structured training programme before leading a session alone. Your experience doesn't depend on one person.
A method you can feel from the first session.
The Pure Method is our coaching framework — developed over 20 years and applied to every session we run. It's built on four pillars: personalised diagnostics, analytical progression, applied biomechanics, and the complete player experience.
It's what makes Pure Sport different from other tennis academies in Singapore. And it's why our coaches — not just Anthony — deliver the same quality, the same care, and the same results.
