I am a pure beginner and just started my tennis journey with Coach Anthony with Saturday classes. I was initially hesitant to start private lessons but after these couple of lessons I am totally convinced that it’s the right thing to do if I am serious about picking up the sport! Coach Anthony will ensure you have the right technique, while being patient and relentless. Also, his guidance to beginners like me in picking out the right racquet is invaluable (giving exact instructions from string, to grip size etc). Thank you Anthony!
Our son is lucky to have Lucas as his tennis coach. He is teaching him the right techniques and knows how to motivate him. So, after years of watching tennis, I finally decided to learn to play the sport. Did my due diligence and, I can’t recommend Coach Anthony from Pure Sport Tennis highly enough. What sets him apart is his ability to break down complex techniques into simple, actionable steps. His feedback is always clear, constructive, and immediately applicable. He has a great eye for detail and, is able to pinpoint the exact adjustment needed to fix a stroke or improve one’s footwork. Beyond the technical skills, in my honest opinion, he fosters a very positive and supportive learning environment. The sessions so far have been challenging but also fun and, engaging. It’s my first time. Anything that could go wrong when hitting the ball, went wrong. Importantly, I think Coach Anthony is incredibly patient which is pertinent. As a student, what I have come to realise is your emotions manifests itself in the Court during training. It will affect your game, no doubt. The ball will fly to the next Court, outside the box, below the net, everywhere except in your Court. And, that is when you will realise how important it is to have a Coach that is attentive/aware when it happens. Take the Coach’s advice, breathe and tell yourself it’s ok to make mistakes. Learn from it. And, just have fun. Whether you're picking up a racket for the first time or looking to sharpen your competitive game, I think you should give the guys from Pure Sport tennis a try. The value you get from their expertise is worthwhile. Danke!

Ive always been averse to learning tennis because of my weak wrist, but coach Anthony advised me on which tennis racket to buy and the correct techniques to avoid injury. I learn something new every session, and it is always a joy to play.

He is heavily focused on technique (best practices) while also letting you steadily develop your own style and rhythm. I have been taking tennis lessons for approx 2 years somewhere else with zero to no improvement before I switched to Pure Sport Tennis. Once under Pure Sport, my performance improved tremendously within a span of a few months. My tennis lessons are fluid and my coach recommends a different drill or technique to work on every week which is highly effective in my games. I highly recommend Pure Sport to anyone at any level who wants to improve their tennis. The importance of a good coach can never be underestimated!!

Me and my wife learned about Pure Sport through the reviews here and they do not disappoint. We can see the progress from lesson to lesson and he always takes his time to explain and teach the fundamental techniques of the game. Every lesson is different and unique and in my opinion the lessons are suitable for every age and level. The most important thing though is that it is so much fun training with Coach Anthony and we definitely do not regret it!!!!
